At the New Cairo British
International School we do not just pride ourselves on our
students personal development through our Pastoral, Personal
Social and Health Education (PSHE) and Extra Curricular
Activities (ECA) programmes. Our students also produce
outstanding examination results.
The tables below show the
results of NCBIS students for the last three 3 at both KS3
National Curriculum tests and at GCSE. Average results from
UK schools have been included for comparison.

A statistic that is not
published in the UK is the number of pupils that achieve
Level 6 or above. For 2005 over 70% of the student’s
achieved Level 6 or above in English, Mathematics and
Science, by comparison, students in UK schools achieved on
average 33% Level 6 across the three core subjects.

As you can see the school has
excellent academic results. Additionally what makes these
results even more remarkable is that NCBIS is a
non-selective school. We have pupils across the whole
ability spectrum.
In the last two years the
students at the school have achieved results which put the
school’s attainment above the 90th percentile. That is to
say that the school has achieved results better than 90% of
similar schools, with similar ability pupils.
