‘27 September 2005 - I woke up at 6 o’clock. I couldn’t sleep again. I
was so excited because of the school camp. We all went in one big bus to
Ain Sukhna. In the bus we sang and played and talked. We were there with
the whole Dutch Stream (Groups 3 to Group 8). The rooms were so big and
nice. We changed and went to the beach. It was hot and sandy. We made
a gorgeous sand city. We swam and played games all day. After the beach
we went to the pool and some people went to go play tennis with Mrs
Annemiek and Mr Arjan. The tennis was great; I felt so fit afterwards.
After dinner we had a special evening. Everybody had studied a dance or
play. Wybe and Juliettes performance was very funny. This was followed
by a disco. The music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other. The small
children went to bed and the teachers play was very funny. We played a
scary night game on the beach. It was a great day; I wonder what
tomorrow will be like.
28 September 2005 - I woke up with a call from Jelle. After breakfast,
which was very nice, we went to the beach. We made a small sand city
again. We went to the pool and we played a Dutch game. We went out of
our rooms and ate some lovely spaghetti. In the bus we sang some songs.
At school I was happy to see my mom again, but unhappy because the camp
had finished already. As my teacher always said: Time flies when you’re
having fun!’
