Curriculum
Information
The curriculum at the Dutch
Stream is similar to the curriculum ran at the basisscholen in
The Netherlands. All subjects, "taal, rekenen, lezen, schrijven,
aardrijkskunde, geschiedenis, natuur etc" are taught according
the most recent programs used in The Netherlands. The
instruction language is Dutch.
The Dutch Stream is under the
super vision of Mr. R.W.M Roozenburg, Chief inspector primair
onderwijs in het buitenland. "A inspector’s delegation visits
the Dutch Stream every four years".
Students are taught the Dutch
curriculum in preparation for their CITO end test. From all
students from group 2 – 7 CITO-LVS tests are taken twice a
year.

Preparation for an
international schooling career
Lessons in
Music, Art, PE and IT take place with their peers of the
international Primary School in English. The children in Group
1 through 7 participate in all Primary Extra Curricular
Activities (ECA's) and have the same breaks and lunchtimes.
From group 1
onwards English lessons are taken by all students. Through the
years the number of lessons are increasing up to three lessons
per week in group 7 and 8. The level of English at the end of
group 8 is more then sufficient to let the Dutch students cope
with their peers in year 8 of the British Stream.
