School Nurse

The work of our school nurse is to provide the primary care and first aid treatment for all the students and staff within the school. Each student has his or her own medical file in which we kept up to date information concerning any treatment given, or medication administered.

If a child receives treatment, a letter will be sent home informing parents and in case of serious injury the school nurse Sabah Gergeis extension no.11 and mobile 012 3137715 will contact parents to accompany a member of the medical staff to the school designated medical center. The two main hospitals that the school deals with are the Hyatt Hospital in Heliopolis and El Salam Hospital in Maadi. Any medicine that a child needs to be administrated from home would be kept within the medical room and administered under supervision. The school Nurse provides first aid cover during PE lessons and if necessary, off site and special events whenever the students are present.
